What you see here is a creative homeowners version of the old game Mousetrap. Here’s how it works. The horizontal PVC pipe is leaking in the upper right corner. It’s set up so the water goes into the sheet metal elbow which then feeds into the angled section of sheet metal which then dumps into the sump pit. Good stuff. Once again, in the time it took to put this together, the underlying problem could have been fixed. Not nearly as much fun that way I suppose. Why do people do things like this? Not sure but it keeps things interesting, and more importantly, keeps the postcards coming. Thanks for stopping by.
