The House Doctors recommends mold testing in homes in which there are concerns of possible moisture issues, high humidity problems, or when an occupant is predisposed to respiratory issues, including those with asthma or allergies and people with weakened immune systems (such as children, elderly, pregnant women or cancer patients). Most molds are not dangerous and only cause allergic symptoms in people; however, some molds have been linked to more serious conditions. We can conduct air quality testing and/or mold surface testing that will tell you what types of mold are present, and if elevated levels exist after the test is completed.
