[The Housedoctors POSTCARDS FROM THE FIELD] Plumbing leaks come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Everything from a pin hole leak or a leaky valve to a busted supply pipe. Either way, they need to be addressed before they cause real damage. We all like having running water in our houses but not when its running in places it shouldn’t be. Sometimes the pin hole and valve leaks get covered in so much hard water gunk they wind up fixing themselves. Fixing a busted pipe, well that may be a bit more involved. Some of these photos are ugly and make the problem look worse than it is. Most of these can be repaired the right way with little or no material cost and minimal labor.
