Inspectors see Structural repairs on a pretty regular basis. Some done professionally and adequately and others not so much. Sometimes sloping floors and crooked door frames are due to normal settlement, especially in older homes. But sometimes it’s because of inadequate repairs. This repair was in the middle of a crawl space and something you probably wouldn’t see on a typical walk through. Inspectors will get into the crawl space if it is safe and accessible to look for Structural issues, water intrusion and a host of other things. You never know what you’ll find. Always an adventure.
